Monolith

A standing slab lit only along one edge, so the light seems to seep across the face rather than emit from it. Monolith is the most architectural work here — it could be a doorway, a screen, a slice of a larger building that learned to glow.

Iriarte built it after a year photographing brutalist stairwells. The work keeps their proportion and discards their weight.
