Cairn

Three orbs stacked the way a walker stacks stones to say someone passed here. Cairn is the most figurative work in the collection — it marks a place — and the most quietly lit. Each orb holds its own small sun and casts the one below into shadow.

Okonkwo casts the resin with a deliberate cloudiness so the light pools rather than escapes. Up close the orbs look full of weather.
